The Associate Programme is the perfect launch-pad for your purpose-driven career. It is a one year programme that combines paid work with professional and personal development. We are looking for
Participants: Associate Programme,
in full time,
based in London,
for 12 months from April 2018.
Here’s how it works:
- Placements: You work in two purpose-oriented organisations for six months each - for example, tackling food waste at the charity FareShare, analysing impact investment deals with Big Society Capital or looking at sustainability for a corporate like Ben & Jerry’s. You take on new challenges and use your existing skills to solve key problems for the organisations.
- Mentors and coaches: You meet a mentor fortnightly who guides and challenges you to add value in your placement. You meet an executive coach every quarter focused on your personal development.
- Training: Every Friday afternoon you hear from experts from diverse sectors who share their knowledge and experience with you and your cohort. We receive training from top professionals including McKinsey, Ellen MacArthur Foundation and our alumni who work in social enterprise organisations. Your cohort is also a powerful group of like-minded people with whom you share your learning and experience.
- Community: We’ve had more than 1,500 Associates, placements, mentors, coaches and trainers across London, Paris and Berlin all of whom contribute to building a sustainable economy.
The Associate Programme is full time, based in London and runs for 12 months from April 2018. You work in your placement 4.5 days a week and spend Friday afternoons with your cohort in training. You are paid a salary of £22.5k p.a.
After the programme, 85% of Associates continue to work in purpose-led organisations, for example like Candice as Investment Director at Big Society Capital, Joe as CE100 Network Manager with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and Caroline as Co-Founder and Managing Director at The GravityLight Foundation.

You need to have a valid UK work permit to apply, as we are not able to sponsor visas for the programme. We're also recruiting fluent French and German speakers for our Associate Programmes in Paris and Berlin.
