The Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare Programme is a global initiative hosted by the Transparency International UK chapter. The Programme’s overall goal is to improve global health and healthcare outcomes for the benefit of all people, of all ages. It aims to achieve this by reducing corruption and promoting transparency, integrity and accountability within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

Senior Grants & Reporting Officer (OC4H Initiative)

for the Transparency International Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare Programme

Full time (35 hrs pw)

Permanent

Salary: £30-34k dependent on experience

Location: London (Southwark)

About the role

As Senior Grants & Reporting Officer you will be responsible for reporting on the Open Contracting for the Health Sector Initiative (OC4H), a DfID accountable grant. This will include matching MEL and financial reporting according to predetermined project outputs/outcomes. This role will be key in ensuring that project implementation and achievements are appropriately documented and communicated to the donor.

In addition you will:

  • Lead on the Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) and donor reporting according to DfID accountable grants procedures and the TI Monitoring Guide and Framework for SDGs.
  • Responsible for MEL and financial reporting of national partners and external partner subgrants (may include travel to project countries).
  • Coordinate donor reporting internally with TI-UK Finance Department.
  • Support communication/advocacy related activities in accordance with MEL results.
  • Support development of proposals for further funding for open contracting in health and other strategic priority areas.
  • Support TI’s Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare programme as necessary, attend relevant meetings and conferences.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A degree or equivalent experience, preferably to Master’s level, ideally in project management, supply chain and procurement, international development or public health
  • Proven experience of managing development project budgets, MEL reporting and other grant-related activities
  • Knowledge and experience of the complete project cycle
  • Experience managing DfID or other international development accountable grants using IATI standards highly desirable
  • Experience in the global/public health sector highly desirable
  • Knowledge of the national level public procurement processes desirable
  • Well organised, numerate, culturally knowledgeable
