Civocracy is a civic tech startup, helping citizens offer their opinions to shape city projects. Our participation platform is redefining the way citizens and decision-makers communicate and make decisions. We’re looking for an ambitious sales manager to join our passionate team of 13, so together we can help redefine democracy for the 21st century. Your responsibilities:
- Owning your market:
- carrying out industry research and monitoring the market;
- managing the Dutch business development team;
- strategizing on market segments and partnerships.
- Selling Civocracy’s platform and services:
- directing client journey, from cold calling to closing deals;
- measuring, assessing and reporting on results.
- Ensuring successful project launches:
- onboarding clients;
- transferring expertise and consultingon the participation & outreach strategy.
- Ensuring client satisfaction:
- fully understanding client needs, challenges and opportunities;
- providing weekly support;
- evaluating and reportingon participative projects.
Your profile:
- Ambitious, driven and independent:
- you want to be challenged, and are ready to grow in a fast-paced environment;
- you can manage, and take ownership over, your own projects and deadlines with little oversight.
- Communicative and creative:
- you have good team communication skills and feel comfortable working in a fast moving environment
- Organised, goal-orientated and strategy-focused:
- you will be focused on a range of areas, from pure business development to cold calling, relationship management, and external communications. It is therefore important to organize and align activities according to deadlines and priorities.
- You believe in our mission:
- you have a strong interest in democracy, and understand the need to improve the ways in which citizens and governments communicate with each other.
- Other:
- previous sales experience desirable.
- native level of Dutch (both written and spoken), and English.
