We are looking for a
Digital communications and partnerships coordinator
to work with us to share the amazing stories of our group runs, coach runs and missions around the country every day and to ensure new runners keep getting involved. This role will involve working with our partners at BT, New Balance, parkrun, the Big Lottery, Nesta and many local authorities. GoodGym is in an exciting period of growth, currently active in 38 areas around the UK, with 8 more getting ready to launch. You will play an essential role in continuing our expansion and spreading the positive news of our achievements.

Contract Type: rolling freelance contract
Hours: 2-4 days / week
Salary: please submit day rate with application
Location: Can work remotely or from our office in central London

Goal of role:
Ensure GoodGym continues to engage and recruit new runners from diverse backgrounds to sign up to GoodGym.
Key responsibilities:
Recruiting new runners for coach runs, missions or group runs in specific areas:
- Sourcing and developing content to send out through partner emails, internal communications and social media channels to recruit runners and raise awareness of GoodGym
Ensuring regular coverage by our partners:
- Placing stories in partner newsletters, websites and social media.
Content creation
- Finding inspiring stories from runners across all of our areas and getting them written up into stories and case studies.
Social Media
- Managing GoodGym’s social media accounts.
Secondary responsibilities:
- Setting up media opportunities, responding to media enquiries.
- Running seasonal campaigns.
- Running campaigns for launching new areas.
Qualifications/experience:
- Experience of building and maintaining relationships with partners.
- Experience of targeted use of social media and facebook advertising.
- Experience of producing content designed to appeal to specific audiences.
- Excellent copywriting skills and attention to detail.
- Visually aware; good at creating appropriate and targeted messages and imagery.
- Analytical; able to adjust and improve campaigns based on performance.
Desirable:
- Press and PR experience.
- User of Photoshop and Indesign.
- Excited about GoodGym.
