JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a responsible
Junior Project Manager
to administer a range of projects. The role requires effective coordination of projects and management of their timelines, attention to data quality, and experience of participants.
JPM responsibilities will include working closely with our Program Managers to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and budgets for projects. You will be maintaining contact with partners, creating project plans, monitoring project progress, as well as conducting pipeline and market research.
You may be requested at times to support the overall efforts of WikiRate e.V. beyond a project delivery and research capacity. This could extend to working with community members, aiding production of promotional materials, and supporting network development / marketing efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information,
- Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives,
- Collaborate internally with strategy team to ensure fit to quarterly objectives,
- Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve,
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise,
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports,
- Test and maintain the WikiRate.org product site; support users
- Conduct research in private sector Environmental, Social and Governance performance and develop metrics and comparative assessments of company performance,
- Support in organizing and hosting events, workshops, and trainings.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree or equivalent in business, policy, sustainable development, social sciences or related fields,
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and external partners,
- Native-level English; additional languages a plus,
- Goal-oriented and proactive work attitude with a focus on user-community success,
- Strong qualitative research skills required; other technical knowledge a strong plus.
DESIRED SKILLS
- Experience in international network development and coordination,
- Knowledge of and experience in user testing and design methods,
- Previous project management experience,
- Strong analytical skills and a creative problem solver.
