We are looking for a PR & Content Manager to help us tell powerful stories about our work, to promote our flagship fundraising events (including the award winning Sierra Leone Marathon) and to support our ambitious growth plans.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Researching, developing and delivering compelling proactive media materials including targeted press releases, case studies, reports and features
- Monitoring the media and developing media lists and relationships relevant to the breadth of the charity’s initiatives and products in order to pitch stories to a range of media
- Working with the rest of the marketing & communications team to plan and execute a content strategy that drives high engagement
- Serving as writer-in-chief for all content to ensure quality, clarity and consistency
- Using Twitter proactively and reactively to build the charity’s presence and status amongst key opinion leaders and the general public
We are looking for someone with a keen interest in social affairs who is able to distil complex information into short, engaging copy with hooks to encourage people to want to find out more. You’ll be a dynamic self-starter with the confidence to engage and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
