Temporary Part-Time Assistant in the Fundraising Team
The Fundraising Team’s mission is to provide unrestricted funding to the TI-Secretariat, to assist its regional and other teams’ efforts to raise programmatic funds, and to offer fundraising technical support, advice, and training to National Chapters. We sit at the centre of the organisation, having strong relationships with all other teams at the Secretariat. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fundraising from a diverse range of international donors.
Main function: Provision of administrative and research support for fundraising functions.
Starting date: As soon as possible
Duration: 1 year
Location: TI-Secretariat (TI-S), Berlin/Germany
Team: Fundraising
Remuneration: Midi-Job (up to max. EUR 850 per month)
Main Tasks:
- Fundraising horizon scanning and funding opportunity research
- Background research for funding proposal coordination and development
- Data collection for and data entry into online submission and registration systems
- Support in the organisation of fundraising meetings, events and business trips
- Support of online communications functions
Knowledge, experience and skills:
- Background in political and social sciences, or other relevant fields, with a special interest in fundraising
- Experience in administration, desk research and/or fundraising are an advantage
- Development of materials for social media campaigns
- Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge is an essential requirement
- Strong interest in resource development, donor relations, and anti-corruption
- Fluent written and spoken English (working language of the organization); further language skills are an asset
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- Strong research capacities, especially online
- Experience with and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, other Microsoft Office applications an asset
- Very good interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, dedication, flexibility, and the ability to contribute to the work of the team, the Secretariat and the wider movement
