The Hertie School is seeking to fill the following position:
Associate Website, Marketing and Publications (d/f/m/)
on a full-time (40h/week) basis.
The contract is subject to an initial time-limit of 24 months and should start as early as possible.
Your tasks:
- Oversee the organisation, design, and functionality of the Hertie School website incl. maintaining and updating the website, contents, links, etc.
- Daily review and approval of content for the website; coordination with two web agencies and ongoing optimisation of our online presence
- Advise, train and support colleagues from across the Hertie School on how to prepare and share content online
- Develop and implement a marketing strategy for our programmes in close collaboration with the recruitment team
- Manage and/or implement paid digital marketing campaigns via third parties and social media and work on the development and updating of marketing materials
- Digital and/or print advertising in online news outlets, newsletters for programmes/events (i.e. recruitment fairs)
- Work with IT and the legal team to ensure full compliance with laws and privacy regulations
Your profile:
- Minimum two (2) years working experience in a webmaster or web editor role
- Affinity for digital project management and a solid understanding of the management and development of information architecture on websites and other digital platforms
- Excellent command of English (native-level), working knowledge in German is required
- Experience with social media platforms and a good understanding of Google Analytics with regard to traffic and user experience, experience in running livestreams is an asset
- Skilled user of Adobe Creative Suite and web content management tools, a solid grasp of web development is advantageous
- Some experience creating brochures, publications and merchandise from start to finish
- Excellent writing and editing skills combined with an impeccable eye for detail
- Interest in social sciences, politics, economics and higher education would be advantageous
