We are looking for a candidate with
• Experience working for a corporation or consultancy and the ability to understand issues from a business perspective
• Passionate about business as a contributor to sustainable development
• Familiarity with the business and human rights agenda and recent developments related to the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights
• An interest in twentyfifty and our work and a desire to help businesses think ambitiously and strategically
• Able to distil large volumes of information into succinct, structured, and impactful communications
• An engaging presentation style
• Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate well with a range of people
• Excellent organisation and time management skills and able to contribute to several projects concurrently
• Resilient and able to work under pressure to deadlines
• Willing to contribute to a team and support Senior Consultants to deliver projects and programmes
Key tasks in your role will involve
• Taking ownership and responsibility for parts of client project delivery
• Conducting research on human rights risks in global operations and supply chains and helping design approaches in response to these
• Analysing reports and documents, write concise summaries, fact sheets and case studies and develop training material
• Undertaking field research and conduct stakeholder interviews
• Supporting twentyfifty’s communication and sales activities and contributing to presentations and proposals for clients
• Tracking project implementation, support project teams and client coordination, preparing and maintaining project plans and budgets
• Administrative support on projects including document management, organising client meetings and invoicing
• Occasional travel within Europe and to emerging markets and developing countries
