Impact Hub Berlin is looking for a Head Coach to support the success of the participating ventures on our circular economy incubator programme: 'Better Together'.
About the Circular Economy Ecosystem
At Impact Hub Berlin, we focus our activities on four core impact ecosystems, one of which is the circular economy. Better Together is our six-month circular economy incubator putting partnership-readiness at its core. The programme supports early-stage Impact Entrepreneurs with stipends and tailored business coaching, giving them the space, tools and network needed to leverage their impact. We're launching the third cohort of this EU/Berlin Senate-funded programme in 2022, building on the successes of the first two.
Your deliverables
- Coach participants and teams in the creation and implementation of their development plan in weekly 1-on-1 meetings and other individual sessions;
- Implement the startup curriculum for participants;
- Prepare teams for key events like mid-term review sessions and Demo Days;
- Evaluate participants' feedback on the incubation programme and iterate/adapt the programme according to their needs;
- Build and develop relationships with potential cooperation partners and pilot partners, and facilitate venture introductions where relevant.
- Participate at occasional public events to represent Impact Hub Berlin and the Better Together programme.
Your qualifications and skills
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. economics, social sciences, administration, engineering or natural sciences);
- At least five years of professional experience as a project leader of a competence-building programme in the startup sector;
- Extensive network in and knowledge of the startup and/or circular economy sector;
- Prior experience in the field of technology-based startups;
- Knowledge of common startup methodology skills (e.g. Lean Startup, Business Model Canvas, Rapid Prototyping);
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Passion for innovation, entrepreneurship and impact;
- German and English fluency;
- The right to work in the EU, and be based in Berlin.
