As Tech Lead at mTOMADY you will:
Develop the technological vision for mTOMADY
Lead and coach our international engineering team of 8 developers located in Berlin and Madagascar
Establish proven engineering practices
Analyze, build, test and ship various tools for patients, healthcare providers like hospitals and governments
Contribute to our vision with your creativity and ideas
Work in a diverse, mission-driven team of engineers, doctors, economists and design thinkers from Madagascar and Germany
Your profile:
You are an expert in most parts of our tech-stack: Ruby on Rails, Vue.js, Postgres, AWS, Terraform, experience with Android development using Kotlin is a plus.
You have worked as an engineering manager, or are an experienced team lead; a background in teaching and coaching is a plus.
You like working in a cross-functional environment.
You are fluent in English; additional language skills in German, French and/or Malagasy are a plus.
You want to make a social impact with your work; previous international experience is a plus.
Experience with building GSM/USSD based applications and with mobile-money systems and running open source projects is a plus
