SIDE Labs is a small team with a big mission: we use design and technology to alleviate suffering, guide the vulnerable and reduce inequalities.
We are looking for a passionate individual to further propel and accelerate this mission. You’ll be joining a small team working to help Citizens Advice Scotland deliver the most local and best possible user experience for people engaging with the service.
At CAS advice has traditionally been delivered face-to-face, but with the pandemic this is switching to remote. This necessitates systems improvement, and so far we have been very successful at making a big impact via no-code.
In the first 4 months, we launched a Voice AI system that transforms their national helpline: reducing time to connect a caller to their local bureau from 24 hours to 30 seconds.
But we want to do much more! We've got a year's funding, thanks to the brilliant CivTech challenge.
