Thanks to its business model, in 2014 Treedom became part of the Certified B Corporations, a network of companies that stand out for high environmental and social performance. Every tree on Treedom is geo-localized and photographed and has its online page, it can be kept or virtually gifted to others. Thanks to these features, Treedom engages people while simultaneously representing a great communication and marketing tool for companies. We have proudly established partnerships with more than 180 companies, that choose to be green with us everyday. Our portfolio includes companies such as Unilever, H&M, Enel, 3M, Swatch, Moncler, FCA.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The company, having achieved the goal of becoming a point of reference in Italy, wants to meet new challenges and expand its network and business abroad. We completed a capital raising of approximately € 2.5M, of which about
€ 1.5m will be invested in promotion and communication activities both in Italy and abroad.

Profile

The ideal candidate must have a solid commercial background, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in one of these fields:

  • Strategic sales and exceptional account management, treating each client as a partner;
  • Marketing & Communication with a significant experience in the B2B;
  • Experience in environmental companies or in the Corporate Social Responsibility department represents an asset.
  • It will also be considered an asset if the candidate comes from companies operating with national and international scope customers, and if the candidate has a portfolio of established contacts.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • skills in business strategy and planning
  • knowledge of the market/country of reference and of the local companies;
  • excellent ability to create networks;
  • extensive experience of high-profile commercial advice in integrated business communication.
  • experience in the sale of communication services, engagement of stakeholders and technical services (such as events, sponsorships, digital communication and business consultancy);
  • experience in managing high-profile clients;
  • excellent interpretive skills of the customer needs and in the management of projects;
  • knowledge of the dynamics related to the development of integrated communication projects and event organization;
  • full availability to travel, in the country and to the Italian headquarters;
  • fluent in English, native proficiency in German;
  • computer literacy.

Duties

  • define by mutual agreement with the headquarter management trade policies to be implemented on the market / country assigned;
  • achieve the agreed objectives in terms of volume, value and profitability.

The main activities include:

  • planning and weekly reporting of commercial activity to the head office;
  • scouting for the recruitment of potential customers and business partners useful for the development of the turnover of the company;
  • personalize projects for each customer, contracts management, accounting and customer loyalty;
  • support in the adaptation of the institutional presentations for the local market and in the implementation of materials and commercial strategies for the market/country of reference;
  • participation in events and fairs.

The candidate must be energetic and enthusiastic, curious, have an entrepreneurial spirit and have the ability to adapt to a company in the process of structuring and booming. A willingness to work in a team is a must!

Please note: the location for the German head offices has not yet been defined. We may well end up coming to wherever you are. So sell us your city too!
