As our Community & Events intern, you will join our diverse team to inspire, connect, and enable community members and partner organizations to develop their best work every step of the way. Your responsibilities include (and are not limited to):
1. Community
- Support in the membership process (intake and onboarding);
- Map out and understand our diverse membership base;
- Maintain and promote existing community offerings;
- Ensure high quality member experience by being attentive, prompt and responsive;
- Support with hosting the community and connecting members;
- Share member and community stories via our social media channels.
2. Events
- Support with maintaining a vibrant events calendar and delivering high quality diverse events that appeal to our members and social impact community;
- Communicate upcoming events through social media, newsletter and posters;
- Support with delivery of high quality customer experience at all events and occasions;
- Support with financial tracking of events/venue revenue;
- Promote venue booking and our events via internal and external channels.
