We are seeking an entry-level
Marketing Communications Assistant (m/f)
to join our communications team in Berlin.
Full-time, initially limited to 12 months.
Your responsibilities:
- Support production of digital content related to Sourcefabric and our products
- Manage social media channels and boost engagement
- Help produce and distribute newsletters
- Proofread deliverables in print and online
- Review and edit websites, blogs, social media postings, etc.
- Research and monitor blogs and relevant industry publications
- Help produce press releases, product descriptions and case studies
- Monitor custom reports on performance of marketing and media strategies
Preferred skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1 to 2 years experience in marketing communications
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Native English speaker (or nearly native knowledge)
- Visual thinker
- Ability to get up to speed quickly on different kinds of technology
Preferred technical skills
- Management of professional Twitter, Facebook and YouTube accounts
- Mailchimp
- Office applications (especially spreadsheets)
- Google Analytics
- Image editing (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Comfortable with multiple applications (e.g. wiki web applications, Wordpress, etc.)
Bonus experience and skills
- Degree in marketing or communication
- Direct experience in video, audio, broadcast equipment, information technology, or telecommunications a plus
- Comfort with ambiguity and working in a globally dispersed organisation
- Fluency in German is a plus
- SEO and SEM experience is a plus
