Green City Solutions - a young and innovative Start-Up based in Berlin, Germany. Challenges at GCS
- You feel comfortable dealing with the Hard (Python, Java)- and Software (JavaScript, Angular2) and you love to extend you fundamental knowledge continuously
- You will create a scalable and resilient application landscape to support our fast growing company
- You will create tools supporting growth of a developer community around open data
- You will build a detailed, sustainable monitoring and maintenance concept for our production environment
- You love to share your knowledge with the team, you are used to document your code, automated tests, solutions, concepts and methodologies
Your qualifications
- You are an IoT enthusiast
- You have a good degree, preferably in computer science or comparable training
- You have excellent software development skills preferably in Java and JavaScript.
- You have a proven understanding for software- architecture, follow current trends and know about the „typical“ problems in the Internet of Things
- You will share your excellent knowledge and interest in creating, maintaining and improving our software-life-cycle
- You will contribute creative ideas and expertise to improve the team performance continuously
- You believe in the open source-movement and had contributions in open source-projects
- You are an excellent communicator in English and ideally in German
What we expect from you
- You are eager to walk "the extra mile" with us to work on a try great product
- You have proven track record as a Full-Stack
- Software-Developer while using JS/REST/Java/Docker/AWS/SQL and equal technologies
- You have experience in programming Single Page
- Applications (SPA) using modern JavaScript Frameworks like Angular2
- You are an optimist, have strong communication skills and share your ideas to help making our product even greater
- Your hands-on-mentality helps realising your great conceptual skills and your creative mind-set very quickly
