The Inclusive Business Action Network (IBAN) project and its partners are collaborating to enable the scale and replication of inclusive businesses across the globe; inclusive businesses benefit the four billion people at the base of the pyramid (BoP) and are at the same time profitable for the businesses. The Inclusive Business Action Network forms part of the strategy adopted by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) on cooperation with the private sector and private sector development; it builds on experience to date in German and international development cooperation (DC) in promoting inclusive business models (e.g. inclusive business sector dialogues, G20 inclusive business workshops). IBAN is a global network of companies and other public and private stakeholders that enable inclusive business through collective action and knowledge sharing.
