As a Junior Product Manager for MIAMED you will be responsible for transforming our outstanding content into a digital learning and knowledge platform. You will design new features (e.g. quiz feature for our medical images and illustrations), as well as integrate existing feature sets in new and exciting ways for the betterment of the product (e.g. user on-boarding) - towards our customers as well as our editors. Based in Berlin, you will align with overall business and product strategy and collaborate with key stakeholders to help exceed product goals.
An ideal candidate will already have actual software product management experience ideally with a focus on education as well as mobile technologies. You are an excited product-person obsessing over customer needs and values while keeping the business goals in mind. You have good judgement, set clear goals, and ship features in time.

- Understanding medical students and professionals inside out
- Understanding the market landscape as well as future directions in technology and content
- Developing measures of success for the product and business
- Developing and documenting feature concepts and following the execution while adapting if necessary
- Driving feature development with a clear narrative and rationale
- Conduct tests and experiments to validate your assumptions and hypotheses
- Be accountable for your successes and failures
YOUR PROFILE
- A completed bachelor’s/master’s degree in business, ideally with emphasis on computer science and information science
- Experience as part of a product management team for a consumer-facing product
- Previous experience working closely with engineering teams
- Highly organized, very structured way of working and the ability to prioritize
- Eagerness to dive into details, find creative solutions and take responsibility for your projects
- Hands-on and getting-things-done mentality
- Great communication skills and a strong desire to learn and master pursuits
- You are keen on learning new things every day and you like to push new ideas forward
- Excellent German & English language skills
