AzuKo is an international architecture charity. We design with disadvantaged communities and empower them to create the world they dream of. From housing, sanitation and infrastructure to play and public space, our projects address the real needs of the communities we work with. We’re using human-centred design to tackle some of the world’s toughest problems, but we can’t do it alone. We need your help.
Role Description
Overview
We’re looking for a driven graphic design specialist to visually represent the process and social impact of our work. The goal is to help us communicate the value of our work to collaborators, potentials supporters, external audiences and beneficiaries.
Responsibilities
- Create drawings and images to capture our human-centred placemaking pilots in Poplar, East London
- Design infographics that illustrate the impact of our work in Dinajpur district, Bangladesh
- Visually communicate the participatory design process that defines our method of work
- Define and create relevant content for social media, including but not limited to: project stats, quotes, beneficiary stories, data and photography
Qualities
- Proven experience in graphic design, data viz and photo editing
- Creative and innovative approach, and understanding of the charity sector
- Positive attitude with an openness to critical feedback and willingness to make changes to your designs
- Attention to detail, problem solving, multitasking and organisational skills
- Fluency in English
