GiveDirectly is looking for a full-stack developer who is ready to own, develop, and refine a broad portfolio of products, ranging from mobile and web applications to backend data integrations. As GiveDirectly’s only full-time technologist they will be responsible for developing solutions to the organization's most challenging technical problems, and owning the resolution from end to end. While GiveDirectly is based in New York City, this position will require travel 3-6 times a year to our offices in East Africa. The position requires excellent communication and self organization skills, a degree in computer science or a related field, and 2-5 years experience developing full-stack technical solutions professionally. Successful candidates must be comfortable in a meritocratic environment with frank, honest feedback. Experience managing projects, as well as hiring and leveraging consultants is preferred. This position will report to the Head of Information Systems.
