The Social Investment Consultancy is a consulting firm operating at the intersection of the for- and non-profit sectors, dedicated to helping businesses and charities maximise their social impact. The latest models of social enterprise, revenue generation and social investment, and the integration of skills and expertise from across the public, private and third sector form the basis for our work. Previous and current clients include Save The Children, Big Lottery Fund, Oxford University Press and UNICEF.

The Social Investment Consultancy is recruiting for an analyst to join our small and dynamic team in central London to provide a diverse range of professional services to clients. This role will be for an initial 6-month contract, hopefully growing into a permanent role.

Analyst

Full Time, FTE £22-24k DOE, Initial 6 month contract

We need someone who is passionate, understands social change as being based on changing systems rather than just helping individuals, is ready to take on client facing work, has a strong attention to detail, and brings something interesting to the team.

We recruit people who either have an incredible academic understanding of the worlds in which we operate, have a management consultancy (or similar) background or have direct frontline experience working with the sectors we focus on.

You should have the ability to present yourself, your ideas and your work to a high level and maintain a work ethic that allows you to keep up with a very hard-working office.

You will be doing research, preparing briefings and presentations, attending client meetings, and supporting the team with business development as well as the general functions of running a small business.

As an integral member of our entrepreneurial team, you will get the opportunity to contribute towards our projects with charities, social enterprises and businesses, helping to design and implement cutting- edge social change programmes.

If you did a PhD great, if you started work at 16 and haven’t stopped, great. If you’ve worked in the commercial sector great, likewise for the charity sector. So long as you’ve spent your time working hard and learning, we’re interested to hear from you.

Prospective applicants should send a cover letter and a CV to careers@tsiconsultancy.com by 12 noon on the 20th February 2018. Applicants are required to hold the relevant Visas/Work Permits.

Your cover letter should be one page providing details of why you think you would be good at the position, why your experience, expertise, and/or interests are relevant to the position, why you want to work for TSIC, and how what you’ve done to date is relevant to what we’re looking for.

First-round interviews will take place in London on Monday, 26th February 2018.

Start date is negotiable, although we’d ideally like someone to start as soon as possible.
