Student Hubs works in UK universities to mainstream student-led social action, empowering a new generation of active citizens. Each year we support 2,500 volunteers to take part in a wide range of social action and social enterprise projects. We partner with dozens of national charities and social enterprises and hundreds of local community organisations.
Student Hubs is seeking a new:
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
to manage, shape and lead our future direction. As CEO, you will be responsible for driving forward the growth of the organisation, building new partnerships with universities and funders, and leading the organisation’s financial strategy. You will be the face of the organisation, advocating for our mission and vision externally, and leading a talented young team to excel.
The CEO’s core areas of responsibility are:
- Organisational strategy
- Partnership development and stewardship (universities, trusts and foundations)
- People and organisational management
- Financial management
- Trustee Board development and stewardship
This is an exciting role for someone looking for a new challenge in a supportive learning organisation. The successful candidate will have experience of managing people, strategy and finances, alongside enthusiasm for youth social action and higher education. Relevant experience could come from a range of sectors.
The start date for this position is October 2018 or as soon as possible.
