The foundation implements innovative and sustainable projects in science & education, arts & culture as well as environmental conservation & social work. Regional focus of the Foundation is Berlin/Potsdam, South Africa and the USA area. Position
We are looking for a Manager Foundation Operations (m/w/x) in our Potsdam office. In this position, you are central point of contact for our Foundation team and our international cooperation partners. You will support all operational and administrative matters and represent the corporate values internally and externally. Suitable candidates are self-starters who feel comfortable in a dynamic team and understand how to set priorities under pressure. International candidates are particularly encouraged to apply for this position.
Major Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations including preparing/following-up on meetings and overall correspondence
- Managing the content of our soon-to-be launched website
- Supporting the preparation of presentations and reports
- Handling administrative processes like document and deadline management
- Managing ad hoc tasks and projects
Required Background & Competencies
- Successfully completed apprenticeship training or equivalent
- 3-5 years professional experience - preferably in an international company or non-profit organization
- Excellent rhetoric and writing skills in English & German
- Mastery of MS Office especially Powerpoint
- Experience in marketing or website management
