Position: Intern (Full Time or Part Time)
Start Date: January 2021
Duration: Minimum of 10 Weeks
Compensation: 450 Euro stipend & must be mandatory as part of your studies
We are very proud to launch CFFP's internship programme, to commence in January 2021. Since we first founded CFFP, we have received a large number of incredibly impressive unsolicited internship applications. Unfortunately, we haven’t yet been in a position to accept interns as we wanted to ensure that any interns received some financial compensation.
But this has changed: We're excited to announce that we are officially accepting internship applications now!
This internship will be based in our Berlin office. It must be mandatory as part of your studies and we will pay a monthly stipend of 450 Euros (full-time or well as part-time is possible). We arrived at 450 Euro after a series of consultations with those interested in internships as well as other NGOs in Berlin. However, if this is a financial barrier to participating in this internship scheme, please let us know when you apply and we are happy to work something out. Candidates who already have a graduate degree (master’s or equivalent) and are not currently enrolled at a university are not eligible to apply for our internship programme.
Interns must have a valid medical insurance for the duration of their internship. It must include adequate coverage in the event of an injury or illness during the internship.
As always, we will be honest with you:
Like many other not-for-profit organisations, we're still dealing with the impact and challenges of COVID-19 making it difficult for us to guarantee long-term security. Being a young feminist start-up, we work on a very flexible and sometimes spontaneous work schedule contrary to the routine of a typical office job you might find in a ministry or well-established think tank. We encourage applicants to be willing to adapt to new situations quickly, take initiative on their own, and give it their all as things come up unexpectedly (like who knows whether we are allowed back in offices altogether this autumn!). What we can promise is that we will invest our time and energy in our intern to make this the best possible experience for all of us.
If you're looking for a women-led internship focused on intersectional feminism and foreign policy and if you're happy to be flexible and work in a feminist start-up, then this is the place for YOU!
