Pass the Crayon seeks to facilitate the integration of refugee children using art as a way of growing their social and emotional skills. Through creative group activities Pass the Crayon helps build the self-confidence, self-awareness, and relationship building skills needed in order to integrate into a new society. Pass the Crayon believe in stimulating the creativity innate within all children to help them overcome challenges and be full members of German society.
We are a very young organization and therefore working in a small team. By joining us, you will have an impact and responsibility in your everyday tasks. Your job is not to make coffee or make copies, but we will work hand in hand. At the end of your internship, we will make sure that your work is valued. This year is crucial for us because we are actively looking for grants and this is why you will be important!

Tasks:
- Research grants
- Research potential donors
- Write grant applications (German and English)
- Help our Crowdfunding Campaign Manager
- Represent PTC at networking events in Berlin
- Look for other organizations to collaborate with
- Work on our Business Plan
- Create a database for fundraising
- Plan fundraising events / event management
- Administrative tasks

Our team is composed of 2 founders and 15 regular volunteers.
You will work closely with the two founders who are currently learning more about fundraising and therefore you will have an important role to play in the success of the organization. If we find solid grants, it also means that you will have a chance to get a salary!
Working at Pass the Crayon will be a unique experience. You will be able to bring your expertise and vision at the start of an organization and take credit for your own work. The two founders, Martin and Sevin, have a lot of experience in office jobs and they noticed what was motivating or not. So today they want to work in a better environment and change the rules in order to make everyone feel good at their position. Your personal input is also important in that field!
