streetfootballworld is a global NGO that harnesses the power of football to tackle some of the greatest social challenges of our time. Working student (m/f)
Finance and Controlling
to support our Finance & Administration team in various topics, such as reporting and budget analysis as well as follow up of current account & project management and to join our team in Berlin as of January/February 2018.
Your Tasks
- You work closely with colleagues of all departments in order to prepare and update overall annual budgets for the internal forecast.
- You support the project controlling regarding the financial reporting towards funders and monthly updates of cost calculations in close collaboration with our project managers as well as with members of our network.
- You collect and analyse all relevant information for our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and help generating and disseminating the internal report.
- You support us in further developing and refining our controlling and internal reporting system.
Your Profile
- You are currently studying in Berlin/Brandenburg in the area of Business Administration, Finance, Sports Management, Public Policy, or a related field of studies - preferably in an advanced semester with a major in controlling, accounting, or impact reporting.
- You are ideally available for at least two semesters.
- You are fluent in German (native language level) and English (advanced level). Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- You are an expert in Excel and have strong user skills in other MS Office products such as Word and PowerPoint.
- You have strong analytical skills and a good understanding of cost accounting and margin calculations.
- You are an open-minded team player who likes to work together with people from different cultural backgrounds.
- You are enthusiastic, communicative and love to learn new things.
