Digital Marketing Manager
to join our communications team.
As Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating and executing all our promotional and marketing campaigns, with a focus on our Superdesk and Live Blog products.
About the role
As a Digital Marketing Manager you will:
- Coordinate all our digital marketing campaigns, from email marketing to online ads
- Work with our Business Development and Product teams to provide qualified leads
- Keep yourself updated on the latest trends and experiment with the best marketing tools
- Constantly be thinking about how we can reach the target audience for our products
- Help to create reporting strategies to measure the effectiveness of our marketing programmes
- You’ll report to the Head of Communications and work closely with the rest of the communications team and Business Development and Product teams.
What skills do I need?
The key traits for this role are experience in B2B marketing, excellent e-marketing skills and an interest in how software is changing the world of journalism.
Requirements:
- At least two years of experience in B2B marketing
- Proficiency in using Mailchimp, Google Analytics and online ads (PPC and SEM)
- An understanding of audience-targeting techniques across digital platforms in order to improve targeting effectiveness
- An obsessive love for numbers and metrics and the ability translate them into recommendations for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of campaigns
- Experience in SEO and experience with A/B testing
- Able to work with Google Docs, Wiki, and basic image editing software
- Be comfortable working as part of a small team and managing your own time and projects efficiently
While it’s not a deal breaker, it would be a bonus if you had:
- Experience working in the software industry, particularly with open source projects
- A passion for tech and experience writing in a B2B marketing role
